When my wife and I made the decision to purchase a used home rather than build new we knew we had a lot of work ahead of us. The house was quite dated and in need of a drastic internal face lift.

The first project we took on was the large two story family room which is the main focal point of the entire first floor of living space. The renovation centered on the gas fireplace and two story brick false chimney. Our intent was to drywall over the brick and tile around the fireplace. We had numerous recommended contractors and ultimately chose Rob Percy Construction. Bob was consultative throughout the planning process and had many creative ideas. Bob stayed on schedule and budget. Every person that comes back to our house since the work was completed cannot believe how much better the entire house looks since the transformation.

The second project was our kitchen and Bob was equally consultative. Through his recommendations we were able to keep as much of the existing kitchen intact while still making a dramatic change to a majority of the house. We hired Rob Percy to do a wide assortment of contracting jobs in refurbishing our home in Pittsford. Rob was professional in every way and we found the jobs he did to be outstanding. His work included fixing some cracks in several ceilings, electrical work, plumbing, tearing out and installing two bathrooms and our kitchen. The bathrooms and kitchen had tile work which was done beautifully. The kitchen included among other things installing the dishwasher, stove and sink.
